Cash for Grass Rebate

Low water, native adapted landscapes can be vibrant, use less water and promote wildlife habitat! The City of Santa Rosa can help offset some of the costs of your new garden with a rebate to help with the cost of removing your lawn.

Garden Sense

Garden Sense is a free program open to all Sonoma County residents who want to learn how they can save water in their own garden. The Gardener Sense consultants, who are Sonoma County Master Gardeners are available to make a home visit to any local residence to discuss how a homeowner can easily conserve water by creating a garden that is healthy, environmentally sound, and beautiful. Green Business Program

Get recognized as a Green Business through the Green Business Program. The program is available to most small and medium sized organizations and includes free onsite assessments and cost-saving recommendations. Green Businesses take measures to conserve water and energy, reduce waste and prevent pollution. Learn more about what it takes to become a Green Business and get recognized as a community leader. High Efficiency Toilet Rebate

Replacing old toilets will save water and lower your water bill! Replace your old 1.6 gallon per flush toilet with a new WaterSense labeled high efficiency toilet and receive a rebate of up to $75 on qualifying models.

High Efficiency Toilets and Water Saving Fixtures

City of Santa Rosa Water customers may be eligible to receive up to two high-efficiency toilets, showerheads, and faucet aerators for their kitchen and bathroom installed by qualified plumbers -- at no cost to customers. To be eligible, the toilets being replaced must be 1.6 gallons per flush or higher. Single family and multi-family customers are limited to two toilets per residence. Commercial customers are also encouraged to participate.

Covering your pool can save water, energy, and maintenance costs. Purchase and install a new qualifying pool cover and we may be able to provide you a one-time credit on your next water bill of up to $50.

Remove your pool and replace with a beautiful drought resistant landscape. Santa Rosa Water can help offset removal costs with a rebate up to $750 (Residential) or $7,500 (Commercial). Removing your pool can save water, energy, and maintenance costs.

Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper (QWEL)

Does your landscaper know how to keep your landscape looking great while saving your water and money? Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper (QWEL) training is a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency WaterSense approved training program for landscapers that provides an educational foundation based on principals of proper plant selection for the local climate, irrigation system design and maintenance, and irrigation system programming and operation.
