Turf’s Up! Event for Landscape Pros, Agencies and HOAs to Explore New Turf Rules
February 03, 2026
Join the Russian River Watershed Association (RRWA) and and Russian River-Friendly Landscaping (RRFL) for their free Turf’s Up! event focusing on tree care and lawn conversion in a new regulatory landscape. This 8th Biennial Russian River Friendly landscape event will bring together landscape professionals, contractors, property managers, HOAs, and public agencies to examine California’s new nonfunctional turf irrigation regulations under AB 1572.
California law AB 1572 bans irrigating nonfunctional turf with potable water for HOA, commercial, industrial, institutional, and public properties. This program will equip attendees with the tools and knowledge to thrive in a changing environment. Participants will also learn how to create beautiful, water-wise landscapes that support tree health and sustainability.
