High Efficiency Urinal Rebate Program
The Town of Windsor is offering rebates of up to $300 per fixture to Windsor businesses that retrofit older urinals with high efficiency pint flush or waterless models. An older urinal is one that uses a gallon or more per flush. Participation must be pre-approved through the completion of a brief water use assessment of your business. To schedule an appointment, call a water conservation representative at 838-5357 during regular business hours, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Large Landscape Water Audit Program
NMWD has a landscape audit program for Novato non-residential irrigated, large landscape areas. Thorough on-site audits can be performed to make sure that water is being applied efficiently to help reduce the business cost of water, and may include a “catch can” test, flow tests, and irrigation inspections and scheduling. Audits may only be scheduled from April through July only. Please call NMWD at (415) 761-8944 to schedule an audit.
Laundry to Landscape Graywater Programs
Use the water from your clothes washer to water your garden. When you install a kit to divert water from your washing machine to your garden, it’s called a Laundry-to-Landscape graywater system.
Pool and Spa Cover Rebate
Pool and spa covers are required by the Petaluma Municipal Code, and covering swimming pools and spas when not in use is the most effective method of reducing water loss through evaporation. The City of Petaluma offers a Pool & Spa Cover Rebate for active City of Petaluma water customers. Receive up to $200 for the purchase of a pool or spa cover (not to exceed actual cost).
Pool Removal Rebate
Remove your pool and replace with a beautiful drought resistant landscape. Santa Rosa Water can help offset removal costs with a rebate up to $1,000 once (Residential) or $10,000 annually (Commercial). Removing your pool can save water, energy, and maintenance costs.

Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper (QWEL)
Does your landscaper know how to keep your landscape looking great while saving your water and money? Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper (QWEL) training is a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency WaterSense approved training program for landscapers that provides an educational foundation based on principals of proper plant selection for the local climate, irrigation system design and maintenance, and irrigation system programming and operation.
Service Split Incentive Rebate
Many properties have one water meter that serves both indoor and outdoor water use. Separate your irrigation system from your indoor use by installing a dedicated irrigation meter and receive a rebate!
Smart Irrigation Controller Programs
Smart irrigation controllers act like a thermostat for your sprinkler system: telling it when to turn on and off based on local weather and landscape conditions. With proper installation, programming, and maintenance, these self-adjusting controllers can reduce overwatering.
Sustained Reduction Program
Is there a technology or hardware you want to install but we don't have a rebate for it? If it can achieve a sustainable reduction every month in water use and wastewater flow, you may qualify for $400 for every 1,000 gallons reduced!
Water Efficient Landscape Programs
Not quite ready to remove your lawn? Is your controller from the 1980s? Have you been thinking of converting your spray system to drip irrigation? There are many water efficient landscape rebates available.
Water Efficient Landscape Rebate
The Town of Windsor offers a rebate of $1 per sq foot up to $1,500, for replacing your lawn with water-wise landscaping, as well as a $500 rebate for upgraded irrigation equipment. Transform your yard into a beautiful, resilient, and sustainable landscape that will save you both water and money.

Ever wondered how efficient your property is? Having issues trying to reduce your use? Have trained staff walk you through your current system and help looks for improvements that could save water.
