Rooted in the Watershed Guided Hike Event Series: Join One Tam staff for the summer Rooted in the Watershed guided hike series, where they travel from peak to Pacific through the forests of Marin County. Starting on Mt. Tamalpais, they will follow the water all the way out to Lagunitas Creek, stopping at several forest types on the way. This series encourages folks to reflect upon how our parks are connected through the watershed they share, and how, through collaborative management, we can foster more resilient landscapes.

Samuel P Taylor Coast Redwood Guided Hike: For the final hike in the series, you are invited to experience the magic of California’s Coast Redwoods at Samuel P. Taylor State Park as you hike through the park with Marin Water and CA State Parks staff. Finishing at Lagunitas Creek, you’ll ponder all that has been learned together in the series and have a hands-on opportunity to see just how connected our park sites are through water. Folks should be prepared to hike about 3 miles.
