Volunteer to get hands-on experience installing a Laundry-to-Landscape Graywater Reuse System!

Laundry-to-landscape (L2L) graywater is a no-permit-required opportunity to reuse water that you are already paying for! Join our installation program to get hands-on experience installing the indoor and outdoor components of a graywater system.

We’ll be working on the East side of Petaluma to support Brian, Emily, and their family to incorporate graywater into their home and landscape. Participating in this program will allow you to develop the skills needed to install an L2L system in your own home. We’ll also discuss different rebates available to support your efforts.

We’ll be joined by Mary Klein, a local graywater and landscape installer, who will support the design and oversee the technical aspects of our installation. It’s our hope that you’ll walk away from the event empowered to install your own graywater system; maybe you and other attendees can help one another with your installations!

Please review our graywater resources and Greywater Action’s webpage to get an overview L2L systems ahead of the installation. Then, come with all your questions and curiosity as we learn together and help our community conserve water.
