Let’s get to planting a hedgerow! Daily Acts, the Resource Conservation District and McKinley School are installing a 8,000 gallons of rainwater storage, and sheet mulched areas of the campus that will now be turned into a pollinator garden.

We invite you to come out and help plant a hedgerow to support our pollinators! Bees, butterflies, moths, and a variety of other insects and animals are key species to supporting our planet. We need your help in installing a landscape that will create a corridor for pollinators for years to come.

We’ll highlight some exceptional plants that pollinators love, discuss how to plant into a sheet mulched landscape, and we’ll install drip irrigation to ensure the plants are happy and healthy throughout their life!

Don’t miss out! On this day we will also be kicking off our newest community effort, the Land Resilience Partnership Program.  You can expect, food, beverages, tunes, and enriching community conversations. Learn how you may be able to benefit from this program, where, we have a goal of installing 75 climate resilient landscapes in the Petaluma community.
