Join fellow landscape industry and municipal partners to experience a hands-on workshop reviewing the Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance and how it applies to you.
The Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance (MWELO) promotes efficient water use in new and retrofitted landscapes. The 2010 ordinance was updated in 2015 and will have additional revisions going forward.
Come learn about water budgets, irrigation, soil and compost requirements and plant strategies. Hear from regional representatives on how the ordinance may vary from one locality to another.

Landscape contractors, building officials, landscape designers and architects, land use agencies and water suppliers from Marin, Sonoma, Napa and Mendocino counties.
