The Sonoma-Marin Saving Water Partnership is a proud partner and  financial supporter of the University of California Master Gardener Program of Sonoma County Garden Sense Program.

The Garden Sense program provides guidance to homeowners looking to make water efficiency improvements to their landscape through free one on one consultations. Garden Sense advisors share their expertise with turf conversions, irrigation system efficiency upgrades, and climate and site appropriate plant selection and design.

2020 Outstanding Public Engagement Award Recipient issued by the Irrigation Association Smart Water Application Technologies program

Thanks to the now more than 900 Garden Sense participants, Garden Sense has been awarded the 2020 Outstanding Public Engagement Award by the Irrigation Association Smart Water Application Technologies (SWAT) program.
